Project Overview

An international brand and watch manufacturer was using outdated legacy software to manage the processes of opening new retail stores. They engaged InAir Studio to develop a multi-team project management system with automated deadlines based on opening day projections for new retail stores.


They were struggling with complex legacy software they used for new store openings. The system was prone to frequent bugs and limitations for customizations. Due to the complexity in making any system changes, it led to delays in store openings and increased costs.


  • Designed and built a Project and Task Management system in Airtable within 6 weeks
  • Developed an automated time allocation tool inside of Airtable to select appropriate tasks and calculate deadlines to ensure the store opening would be as scheduled
  • Implemented collaboration across multiple departments, including Real Estate, Design, and Legal


  • Significant reduction in operational costs and time required for new store openings
  • Improved communication between all departments
